I have two followup questions though..
1) How do i set the frequency of which OTRS sends out email via SMTP? Or SMTPTLS in my case? I send emails out via Amazon SES, and they only allow 5 emails a second to be sent out. That would mean in theory, that if we are 6 agents that need to get notified at the same time, one of us wouldn't since I suppose it takes OTRS less than a second to send 5 emails?
2) People seem to get notification emails about tickets that are pending etc even though they have unselected it in their profile options, how do I fix this?
