Send a mail to customers

Hello,

Is there a way to send a mail to some customers? (This must be a one-shot message (not a ticket), just like the "Admin Notification" sends a mail to users.)

Generally speaking, no. OTRS isn't an MTA. You could theoretically set up a group and a Notification (Event) to do it in 3.x, but OTRS isn't a mailing program.

Of course it is not.

I just wanted to, occasionally, take advantage of having all customer email addresses in database to send a mass message like, for instance, "We are pleased to announce you we are now using OTRS. Please don't remove the ticket number in your mails."

just put the text to the auto response or signature of the OTRS Mails..
